The uniqueness of the Bunut Bolong Tree lies in that part of the hole. The hole in the tree is quite large. Owners of four-wheeled vehicles can pass through the hole smoothly. In fact, ordinary truck drivers cross this place smoothly and without a hitch. Because of its uniqueness, the Jembrana Regency Government has also included this place in the catalog of tourist attractions in its area.

There are certain restrictions that must be adhered to by visitors. If these restrictions are violated, then there will be consequences that must be borne by each violator. Among them, the bride and groom are not allowed to pass through the road under the tree. However, this rule does not apply to those who are not married. In addition, cars or ambulances carrying corpses are also prohibited from passing through this road. Then, what if a bridal party or an ambulance carrying the body wants to cross this road? Stay cool. The local people are well aware of the importance of the road where the Bunut Bolong Tree stands. They built a road next to a tree as an alternative route.

Bunut Bolong is in the middle of the road, to be precise in Manggisari Village, Pekutatan District, Jembrana.

To get to Bunut Bolong, you can use private vehicles or rent cars such as motorbikes and cars. The following is the route to Bunut Bolong:

It is about 2 hours drive northwest from Kuta. From the center of Kuta take Jl. Raya Kuta and Jl. Imam Bonjol to Jl. Cokroaminoto in Denpasar City. Then take Jl. Raya Denpasar – Gilimanuk to Jl. Pekutan/Jl. Pekutatan – pupuan in Pekutatan. Continue straight onto Jl. Pekutan/Jl. Pekutatan – pupuan.
From Denpasar City by driving for approximately 2 hours drive.
