Things To Know Before Visit Amed Beach
The Amed Beach area does have many snorkeling and diving locations. In addition, the snorkeling and scuba diving spots in Amed have many preserved coral reefs, and the location of the coral reefs is close to the beach. Coral reefs in Amed are very well preserved, due to the awareness of local residents who continue to protect coral reefs.
About 20 meters from the Amed Beach, there is the skeleton of a Japanese patrol boat that sank in World War II. This shipwreck location is a favorite snorkeling and scuba diving spot in Amed. Because there is a wide variety of coral reef life and a large number of fish. In fact, if we are lucky we can meet turtles, stingrays and reef sharks.
Amed’s tourist attraction is located in the East Bali area, Abang District, Karangasem Regency with the main attraction being the beauty of the underwater scenery. The stretch of beach in Amed is 14 kilometers long, and includes 7 village areas. The beach sand in Amed is a beach with black sand. Residents’ activities in Amed are not as busy as in the tourist area of Kuta. Therefore, most tourists who vacation in the Amed area are tourists who are looking for a quiet and relaxing vacation spot.
